or e-mail me constantly, or I may temporarily ban you (see banning

No picking on, bugging, or harassing other members.

No prefabricated mIRC actions such as slaps, the only one allowed is
/me.
A moderator with the ability to kick or ban users for breaking rules
frequently checks in to keep things running smooth.

How do I register?
To register, all you have to do is click here.
What is a moderator?
A moderator is a person that can move, edit, delete, lock and unlock
forum threads (see locking topics).
A moderator has NO control over the colors or stuff like that.
Only the administrator (see administrator) can change
the schemes and ban people (see banning members)
How do I become a moderator?
Well, being a moderator is an honor, and it is a hard to become one.
If I believe from how you do on other sites, or if you help out a lot at
the forums and be a good member, I might make you a moderator.
However, don't come to me every time you help someone asking if I will
make you a moderator, or I will ban you (see banning members).
I will choose who I think would be a good moderator.
Winners of the guess the coaster contest are moderators for a week.

What happens to a "locked" topic?
Basically, a locked or closed topic is a topic that nobody can post
in. A moderator (see moderator) should only lock a topic
if it is offensive to another member, spam, or flaming/bashing.
What is an admin (administrator)?
An admin is the owner of the forum. He has access to everything that
everyone else does and then some.
Normally, there is only one admin, but sometimes you will see more
then one, as is the case with Coaster-Thrills. (see how
to become an admin?).
How can I become an admin?
A pretty good question. The answer is, you can't. I don't like other
people in and about my site.
However, there is an acceptation. I might let a few people I
end up trusting be Temporary admins if I am going to be away for
the weekend or the week or any 2+ days that I know I am going to be away.
Chat
The chat room is an IRC channel on the MagicStar Server.
Registration is not required to access the chat.
How do I get into chat?
use your IRC client to connect to Random MagicStar Server and
join the channel #thrilltalk.
Banning members
If you are constantly criticizing another member, the site, or another
site, you will be banned. If you are banned you won't be able to post,
re-register, or do anything but read the forums!
How long will I be banned?
I will give you a stern warning if you swear.
I will give you another stern warning if you swear again.
I will give you another stern warning if you swear again.
I will ban you for 1 week if you swear more than 3 times
After the 1 week banning, you wll recieve 1 day bans every time you
swear.
I will give you a stern warning if you bash, or flame anybody or
any site.
I will give you another stern warning if you do it again.

I will ban you forever for doing it repetitively.

or anything really. Pretty straight forward. I am not too harsh
on people, but with these rules our forums will be more peaceful due to
the fact that who wants to be banned?
What is a bad language filter?
A "bad language filter" is a tool that IB uses to prevent swearing.
For instance, if you swear, it will take the work and change it to
the word that I set for that word, for example, 4-letter words will be
changed to ****. ALL swearing is out of the forums!
Someone is bugging me to no end, how do I
tell you about it?
Tell a moderator via email or IB messenger, or me via email
or IB messenger.
Contacting me
To contact a moderator, IB message or email them from the forums. To
contact me, IB message or Email
Me.
If for some reason you cannot get into the forums to contact a moderator
or me, Email Me
and I will try to fix the problem.
Is there a place where I can see all the other members?
Yes, the Memberlist. Click on members at the top right of the forums.
What the heck is a hack?
A hack is an add-on. It would be like a new page, new avatars (see
avatars)
and things like that.
What is my profile?
Your profile is where you can change you avatar (see signature),
and information you give at registration.
What is an avatar?
An avatar is a little picture that appears under your usernam every
time you post. You can use the ones that I post, one from another site,
and one from your own machine. The avatars can't be to big, and I will
contact you if it is. You may have no avatar if you choose.
What is a signature?
A signature is another thing that comes up when you post. You can leave
your signature blank if you want. Your signature appears under your message
after you post.
Items allowed in signatures:
You can have text, not too horribly long, and banner (468x60) images.
To get images, go to your profile to your signature, and put [IMG]URL
of pictures goes here[/IMG]
